PURPOSE: An image reconfiguring device for photographing an electromagnetic wave transverse section and a method thereof are provided to shorten image reconfiguring time by quick calculation. CONSTITUTION: An image reconfiguring unit(130) updates a parameter using a matching system matrix of a base function. The image reconfiguring unit generates an image reconfiguring value. The matching system matrix has a sinc-Gauss shape which is allocated to each node of a reconfiguration mesh net. An optimization determining unit(140) outputs the image reconfiguring value by determining whether the parameter is optimized. The optimization determining unit makes the image reconfiguring unit to repeat calculation.
