PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a polyketone fiber of high strength is provided to quickly solidify the polyketone fiber and to manufacture a tire cord, belt, and rope. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a polyketone fiber comprises: a step of dissolving polyketone having 90 mole% of ketone units in a resorcinol solution to prepare a polyketone solution; a step of dissolving the polyketone solution through two or more temperature rising stages; a step of extruding/spinning the polyketone solution through a spinning nozzle(S1) and solidifying the polyketone solution to prepare a multifilament; and a step of washing and drying the multifilament and drawing.
