PURPOSE: A synchronization acquiring apparatus in a wireless system is provided to improve the performance of a wireless communication system in low SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) or fading channel environment by using signals of a repeated pattern. CONSTITUTION: A signal reception unit(710) receives a signal sequence transmitted from a repeated pattern. A synchronization estimation point tracing unit(720) calculates accumulated sum values, accumulated difference values, and a difference value between the accumulated sum values and the accumulated difference values. The synchronization estimation point tracing unit traces a synchronization estimation point by comparing the difference value with the difference value between the accumulated sum values and the accumulated difference values. A signal line is repeated in a period according to the repeated pattern. A synchronization acquisition unit(730) acquires a synchronization point based on the synchronization estimation point.
