APPARATUS FOR MATCHING COLORS BETWEEN HETEROGENEOUS IMAGE DEVICES AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device for matching colors between heterogeneous image devices and a method thereof are provided to supply an image of the same color between a color input/output device used for all processes. CONSTITUTION: A color converting unit(160) converts all colors into colors corresponding to the gamut of an image output device. All colors correspond to the gamut of an image photographing device. A lookup table generating unit(180) generates a lookup table between the image photographing device and an image output device based on color conversion information corresponding to the gamut of the image photographing device. An image converting unit(190) generates an output image of the image output device matched with an input image of the image photographing device using the lookup table.
