METHOD FOR ALLOCATING HOME NETWORK PREFIX, INTER-HANDOFF AND MULTI-HOMING SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A home network prefix allocation method is provided to support multi-homing by enabling a multi-homing system to simultaneously connect to a multi-interface in a proxy mobile IP(Internet Protocol) version 6. CONSTITUTION: A mobile node connects to a first MAG(Mobile Access Gateway) through a first interface(S101). A first two way tunnel is created between the first MAG and an LMA(Local Mobility Anchor)(S107). A second two way tunnel is created between a second MAG and the LMA(S121). The LMA transmits two PBA(Proxy Binding Acknowledgement) messages to the first MAG and the second MAG in order to allocate second HNP(Home Network Prefix) to the first interface and a second interface(S129,S133). The first MAG and the second MAG transmit RtAdv(Router Advertisement) messages respectively included in the second HNP to the first and the second interface(S131,S135).
