APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING FREIGHT CAR FOR CAR DUMPER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting a freight car of a car dumper is provided to maintain a freight car in a state of being entered into a car dumper by preventing reverse movement thereof. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for supporting a freight car of a car dumper comprises a base part(101), a holding part(102), a rotating part(103), and a restoring part. The base part is attached to the outer surface of rails. The holding part is upwardly separated from the base part and is located on the top of the rails in a state of being attached on the outer surface of the rails. The rotating part is located between the base part and the holding part to connect the base part and the holding part and to rotate the holding part on the base part. The restoring part connects the base part and the holding part to maintain the holding part in the state of being attached on the outer surface of the rails. If wheels of a freight car move along the rails when contacting the holding part, the holding part rotates toward the outside of the rail around the rotating part. After the wheels of the freight car pass the holding part, the holding part is attached to the outer surface of the rails by inwardly rotating to the inner surface of the rails with the restoring part.
