PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing an electrode of a miniaturized brain stimulating electrode system is provided to fix an electrode to a desired location. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fixing an electrode of a miniaturized brain stimulating electrode system comprises a shaft(100), an anchor member(200), an electrode fixing member(300), an electrode position moving member(400), and a coupling screw(500). The shaft is attached to a micromanipulator of a stereotaxic instrument. The electrode is inserted into the anchor member which is fixed to the skull. The electrode fixing member is combined with the bottom of the shaft and fixes the electrode. The electrode position moving member comprises an anchor member insertion unit, a sliding unit, and a horizontal unit. The coupling screw fixes the electrode fixing member in the sliding unit of the electrode position moving member. |
