PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to control moisture rates of upper and lower polarization plates. CONSTITUTION: A first material(22) is formed on a viewable side of a polarizer(21). A polarizer protecting film(23) is bonded with a liquid crystal cell by a bonding layer(24). The bonding layer is formed on a side opposite to the viewable side. A second material(32) is formed on a backlight unit side of a polarizer(31). A polarizer protecting film(33) is bonded with a liquid crystal cell by another bonding layer(34). The moisture rates of upper and lower polarization plates are controlled.
