PURPOSE: A location information service providing system and a method thereof are provided to directly receive POI(Point Of Interest) information with respect to a location of a destination location to a mobile terminal and input as destination location information for a navigation device connected to the mobile terminal, thereby enhancing convenience of a user. CONSTITUTION: A location information service providing system comprises a user terminal(10), a location information request receiver(20), and a location information provider(30). The user terminal transmits location information request signals with respect to one spot where the location information is desired to grasp. The location information request receiver transmits the location information request signals with respect to the spot according to the transmitted location information request signals. The location information provider transmits the location information request signals of the spot to a user terminal side according to the transmitted location information request signals.
