PURPOSE: A voice call spam blocking apparatus and method thereof are provided to enable a spam management server to request for blocking a voice call by confirming a spam confirmation number. CONSTITUTION: In case a calling telephone number is a spam-estimated number, an HLR(Home Location Register) transmits a spam blocking request message to a spam management server(S470,S480). The spam management server requests the input of pre-established values to a calling terminal(S490). The spam management server confirms a spam confirmation number from the calling telephone number based on the confirmation values of the calling terminal. When the calling telephone number is the spam confirmation number, the spam management server requests the blocking of a voice call to the HLR(S510). |
