CONVERGENCE BRIDGE APPARATUS AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A convergence bridge apparatus and method thereof are provided to embody networking services between mobile terminals which use heterogeneous network standards by installing heterogeneous communication module. CONSTITUTION: A first mobile apparatus transmits an apparatus discovery packet to a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) communication module of a CB(Convergence Bridge) apparatus(S220). The CB control unit of the CB apparatus searches the first mobile apparatus included in the WLAN and bluetooth(S230). The CB control unit transmits the apparatus discovery packet through a bluetooth communication module(S240). The CB control unit receives apparatus information from a second mobile apparatus included in the bluetooth through the bluetooth communication module(S250). The CB control unit transmits the created heterogeneous device list through a WLAN communication network(S270).
