PURPOSE: A target type advertisement providing method is provided to increase the success rate of purchase through advertisement by transmitting advertisement for a service and a product to IP(Internet Protocol) viewers. CONSTITUTION: Advertisement information is inserted into the metadata of a specific channel for user(650). When the feature channel for images is requested, the image of the requested channel is transmitted to the TV(Television) terminal of a requester(660). An advertisement request event message is transmitted to an advertisement server according to the metadata of the feature channel(670).
