PURPOSE: A location based service providing method for a portable terminal in femto cell environment is provided to effectively offer location based services to the portable terminal by using the location information of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal contacts to a femto cell base station(S120). The portable terminal notifies the approval of location information providing to the femto cell base station(S150). The femto cell base station allows the portable terminal to access a femto cell(S170). A femto cell base station control apparatus acquires the location information of the portable terminal(S190). The femto cell base station control apparatus provides the location based service to the portable terminal based on the location information(S200).
