PURPOSE: An active matrix display is provided to increase screen quality by removing a ripple element of a common voltage fast. CONSTITUTION: At least one of first common lines connects common electrodes of liquid crystal cells in the middle of charging. A plurality of second common lines connect common electrodes of liquid crystal cells not in charging. A first bus line receives a first common voltage. A second bus line receives a second common voltage. A gate driving circuit(13) generates scan pulses in order, applies the first common voltage to the first common line and applies the second common voltage to the second common line. |
