PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to change a current web page into other web page in a portable terminal by considering of the convenience of a user. CONSTITUTION: A control unit displays a next web page or a previous web page through a first web browser by executing a first touch action on a touch screen when the first web browser displays a first current web page(S43~S46). The control unit controls the display mode of a second web browser and the hiding mode of the first web browser by executing a second touch action on the touch screen when the first web browser displays the first current webpage(S47).
