PURPOSE: A medicine image searching method and an apparatus thereof are provided to accurately supply medicine information to a general user. CONSTITUTION: A camera(110) takes a photograph of a tablet. An object extracting unit(120) extracts a medicine object from a medicine image. A color information generating unit(130) generates color information about the medicine object. A shape information generating unit(140) generates shape information through extraction of a feature point. A searching unit(160) searches for tablet information in database through the feature point.
