PURPOSE: A fuel cell electrode is provided to prevent a water flooding phenomenon in a high-current operation state by smoothly discharging water generated in an electrode using nano carbon reformed with a hydrophilic property. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell electrode includes: a gas diffusion layer(130) consisting of carbon supporters; a microporous layer(120) which is coated on the gas diffusion layer and includes nanocarbon modified by hydrophilic functional groups; and a catalyst layer(110) formed on the micro pore layer. A method for preparing the fuel cell electrode comprises the steps of: modifying nano carbon with hydrophilic functional groups; applying the nano carbon to the carbon supporter used as the gas diffusion layer; and drying the nano carbon and applying catalyst slurry to the micro pore layer. |
