PURPOSE: A stapler having a staple compressing function is provided to prevent the folded parts of staples from being protruded to the outside of papers by compressing the staples. CONSTITUTION: A stapler having a staple compressing function comprises an upper plate(20), springs(30), and a lower plate(40). The upper plate is fixed to the front of a support formed on the bottom of the stapler. Multiple inner holes(21) and outer holes(22) are formed on both sides and the inner side of the upper plate. The springs are installed at positions corresponding to the outer holes on the bottom of the upper plate. The lower plate has outer protrusions(42) and inner protrusions(41). The outer protrusions are inserted into the springs. The inner protrusions penetrate through the inner holes.
