PURPOSE: A synergistic antibacterial composition containing glyphosate compounds and thiabendazole is provided to enhance excellent antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: A synergistic antibacterial composition contains glyphosate compounds and thiabendazole. The glyphosate compound contains zinc glyphosate. The weight ratio of thiabendazole and zinc glyphosate is 0.1:1-10:1. A method for controlling or suppressing microorganism growth in construction materials comprises a step of adding the antibacterial composition to the construction materials.
