PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an information display method thereof are provided to supply information in first/second modes as information related to an application. CONSTITUTION: An operating system implements a plurality of modes including first and second modes. One or more applications are executed in one mode(S1110). A display unit displays information related to the application. A controlling unit executes the application in an active state. The controlling unit displays whether the information is corresponded to the first mode or the second mode(S1130).
