PURPOSE: A variable impedance transformer using multi-conductor coupled lines capable of forming a large variable range of characteristic impedance by appropriately controlling (2n+1) coupled lines and an action mode of a switch. CONSTITUTION: A variable impedance transformer using multi-conductor coupled lines comprises an input port, an output port, and a first transmission line group, and a second transmission line group. The first transmission line group is connected to the input port and the output port. The first transmission line group includes n transmission lines. The second transmission line group includes a transmission line which generates coupling with the n transmission lines. The second transmission line group includes n+1 transmission lines. The n+1 transmission lines each include a switch. |
