PURPOSE: A method for controlling the pressure of an air knife in a plating process is provided to improve the pressure control characteristics of an air knife so that the actual pressure of the air knife can reach a set pressure point more quickly. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the pressure of an air knife in a plating process comprises the steps of: controlling the pressure of an air knife through feed forward control when a set pressure point of the air knife is changed(S3), measuring the pressure of the air knife and comparing the measured pressure with a set pressure point to determine a pressure error(S5), and removing a pressure error through proportional integral control(S6,S8). The air knife pressure control step using feed forward control includes a step of obtaining the amount of set pressure point change by comparing the current set pressure point with the previous set pressure point and a step of calculating a pressure control value for controlling the pressure of the air knife from the amount of set pressure point change.
