RECYCLED POLYESTER FIBER HAVING UV BLOCKING PROPERTY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A recycled polyester fiber formed of recycled polyester resin is provided to protect environment and to be used in various fields such as wallpaper, curtain, furniture, and vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a recycled polyester fiber comprises: a step of mixing recycled polyester resin with waste polyester and ethylene glycol(EG) to prepare bis-2-hydroxyethyl terephthalate(BHET) by depolymerization; a step of adding UV protection agent to prepare recycled polyester resin; a step of melting the recycled polyester resin at 260-330 Deg. C; a step of spinning the melted material at 250-320 Deg. C; and a step of performing thermal fixation of the recycled polyester fiber and drawing the fiber.
