PURPOSE: An electronic component mounting device is provided to suppress the delay of position determination time due to contact friction resistance of a bearing by installing a rotation braking unit in a first power transmitting device. CONSTITUTION: A first rotary shaft(36) includes a nozzle(18) which supports an electronic component. A head body(34) is combined with the first rotary shaft. The head body has a hollow cylindrical shape and rotates around a second rotary shaft in parallel to the first rotary shaft. A first power transmitting device transmits power to the first rotary shaft by rotating in the head body. A first driving unit(31) is arranged on the outer side of the head body and generates power transmitted by the first power transmitting device. A second driving unit(32) rotates the head body. A rotation braking unit gives braking power to the first power transmitting device.
