DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MOBILITY MANAGEMENT

PURPOSE: A mobility management device and a method thereof are provided to reduce delay time in a handover in order to receive an address from a mobility management device of a domain. CONSTITUTION: An MN(Mobile Node) IP(Internet Protocol) address generator(340) generates an IP address of the mobile node by using a MAC(Medium Access Control) address. An MN IP address validity determining unit(360) receives the MAC address and the IP address from the mobile node. The MN IP address validity determining unit determines the validity of the IP address. In case the mobile node connects an MAG(Mobile Access Gateway), a storing unit(380) stores the mobile node information on a BCE(Binding Cache Entry) table through a PBU(Proxy Binding Update) message.
