IMAGE TAKING DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A photographing device and method are provided to control usage of a hardware source by applying to a filter having the same configuration with a filter used for extracting horizontal frequencies. CONSTITUTION: A photographing device comprises a one-dimension IIR(Imaging Infrared)-filter and controller for controlling the number of delayed samples(413). The one-dimension IIR-filter comprising a plurality of sample delay units(409,410) having a plurality of line buffers performs functions of buffering and delaying a plurality of samples and successively extracts pixels constituting image signals by scanning raster. The one-dimension IIR-filter extracts frequency components of image signals from the extracted pixels by using the plurality of sample delay units. The controller for controlling the number of the delayed samples controls the one-dimension IIR-filter and squares the number of pixels in horizontal direction with the number of the samples.
