CHANNEL ESTIMATOR

PURPOSE: A channel estimator is provided to estimate a channel in an optimal state by using a cell specific reference signal and a modulation reference signal. CONSTITUTION: An RS(Reference Signal) extracting unit(110) extracts a reference signal by receiving a data frame. A CRS(Cell-specific RS) extracting unit(120) extracts a cell specific reference signal from the reference signal extracted from the RS extracting unit. A DRS(Demodulation Reference Signal) extracting unit(130) extracts a modulation reference signal from the reference signal extracted from the RS extracting unit. A doppler spreading calculation unit(140) calculates doppler spreading from the reference signal extracted from the RS extracting unit. An MMSE filtering unit(150) respectively performs the least mean square error filtering of the reference signal extracted from the DRS extracting unit or the reference signal from extracted from the CRS extracting unit. An interpolation unit(160) interpolates output values of the MMSE(Minimum Mean-Squared Error) filtering unit according to output values of the doppler spreading calculation unit.
