PURPOSE: A nonvolatile memory device and a controlling method thereof are provided to increase the operation efficiency of the nonvolatile memory device by easily controlling the conversion of a read operation and a program operation. CONSTITUTION: A read command is applied in a program operation(S30). If the read command is generated, information related to a progressing program is stored and a program operation is temporarily stopped(S32). A read operation is performed according to a read command(S52). If the read operation is completed, the program operation is continuously performed by using the information related to the program(S70). |
