PURPOSE: A soft ground improvement method and an excavation rod of a ground excavation device therefor are provided to uniformly mix cement paste discharged from an upper discharge hole to a lower discharge hole with earth and soil. CONSTITUTION: A soft ground improvement method is as follows. When excavation rods(5) excavates the ground, the ground is excavated by discharging cement paste through lower discharge holes(57) formed on the bottom ends of the excavation rods. After the excavation work, the discharged cement paste is cut off to lift up the excavation rods. After the excavation rods are lifted up, cement paste is discharged through upper discharge holes(55b) formed on cement paste discharge blades(55). Stirring blades(54) stir the cement paste to uniformly mix the cement paste with earth and soil.
