PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for manufacturing partially-carbonized coal briquettes and apparatus for manufacturing molten irons are provided to obtain high quality of partially-carbonized coal briquettes by supplying nitrogen to prevent the oxidation of coal briquettes during a carbonizing or cooling process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing partially-carbonized coal briquettes comprises a carbonizing furnace(120) and a hot air generating unit(130). Coal briquettes provided from a coal briquette feeder is supplied from the top to the bottom of the carbonizing furnace. The hot air generating unit is connected through a high-temperature gas supply pipe to the middle of the carbonizing furnace and supplies high-temperature gas of 700°C or greater to the carbonizing furnace through the high-temperature gas supply pipe.
