Novelty: New method for producing olive-stone charcoal of high thermal power generation capacity. Production mode: The pomace wood derived upon separation of the wooden part of the olive stone from olive stone oil is supplied along with limestone into a furnace. Except of lime, there is also produced stone powder drawn to the dryer for being dried out and subsequently mixed first with starch and then with hot water. The resulted mixture is conducted into press for taking the suitable rounded shape while the briquettes are dried out into a closed-circuit air dryer for shedding the moisture they possess. Alternately, the incomplete combustion of the pomace wood can be avoided and this last can be directly mixed with starch and water so that -compared to the simple pomace wood - a final product of increased thermal power is resulted. Embodiment: The invented olive-stone charcoal constitutes an alternative and ecological combustible ideal for domestic or industrial applications. |
