PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of a solar cell by increasing a charge transfer amount to an electrode. CONSTITUTION: Provided is a substrate(110) of a first conductive type. An emitter part(121) is located on a first side of a substrate and includes a first emitter part(1211) and a second emitter part(1212) having a second conductive type and different impurity doping thicknesses. A first electrode is connected to the second emitter part. A second electrode is located on a second side of the substrate located on the opposite side of the first side of the substrate. A first silicon oxide film is located on the second emitter part.
