The system has two traction cables (2, 3) arranged in parallel, where detachable, unidirectional cable cars (1, 1') comprises coupling tongs for selective coupling of the cars with the two traction cables such that the cars are towed by the traction cables. Loops of the traction cables modify configurations to provide different tensions, where the coupling tongs are disengaged from the traction cables. The loops of the traction cables are pulled by a winch, where power and torque of the winch are dimensioned to actuate the cars on an air line.
