PURPOSE: A method for preparing polyacrylonitrile-based precursor for carbon fiber is provided to enhance yield of unreacted monomers and to save production cost. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing polyacrylonitrile-based precursor for carbon fiber comprises: a step of receiving a spinning solution into a thin film evaporative defoamation device to apply the spinning solution onto the inner wall of the defoamation device; a step of heating the applied spinning solution for evaporation; and a step of collecting evaporated solvent and unreacted monomers.
