PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for packing cosmetic cotton are provided to easily pack cosmetic cotton portions containing liquid product in spite of having a relatively simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for packing cosmetic cotton comprises a cosmetic cotton supply unit(110), a longitudinal cosmetic cotton cutting part(120), a traverse cosmetic cotton cutting part(130), a packing film supply unit, a packing film sealing unit(150), a packing film cutting unit(160), and a liquid product supply unit(170). The cosmetic cotton supply unit supplies cosmetic cotton received inside a packing film in a base paper state. The longitudinal cosmetic cutting part longitudinally cuts the cosmetic cotton in the base paper state parallel to the process line in which the cosmetic cottons are progressed. The traverse cosmetic cotton cutting part transversely cuts the longitudinally cut cosmetic cotton in order to produce a unit size. The packing film supply unit supplies packing film for providing the exterior surface of the cosmetic cotton at the other position with the cosmetic cotton supply unit. The packing film sealing unit seals the circumference of a pair of the packing films when the cosmetic cottons formed into the unit size is received between the pair of packing films supplied from the packing film supply unit. The packing film cutting unit cuts the packing films, which are completely sealed, into the unit size. The liquid product supply unit supplies liquid product to a space between the pair of the packing films before completely sealing the circumference of the packing films. |
