High strength metal alloy composition is disclosed. The composition includes: 18 to 22 percent by weight chromium; 5 to 13 percent by weight nickel; between 3 and 10 percent by weight copper; 8 to 10 percent by weight manganese; 0.3 to 1 percent by weight silicon; 0.5 to 1.5 percent by weight niobium; 0.5 to 2 percent by weight tungsten; 38 to 63 percent by weight iron, and 0.2 to 0.5 percent by weight elemental nitrogen. The composition further comprises nanonitride precipitates. Also disclosed are a heater system and a method of heating a sub terranean formation which make use of the metal alloy composition.
