<p>This invention provides an in-vehicle congestion degree display system for notifying railroad users of a congestion degree of each vehicle of a train, comprising: a main server (1) for calculating, for each vehicle of a train, a congestion rate immediately before boarding, wherein the congestion rate immediately before boarding is an estimate of a congestion rate at the time users finish getting off the train, and is calculated on the basis of a congestion rate during travel and a get-off rate, the get-off rate having been obtained and retained in the past as information indicating, with regard to the next station the train will stop at, a difference between the congestion rate during travel immediately before arrival of the train at the station and the congestion rate at the time users finish getting off the train after arrival of the train at the station; and a display device (6) for notifying users of the congestion rate immediately before boarding calculated for each vehicle of the train.</p> |
