PURPOSE: A power amplifier is provided to change a gain by controlling the increase of pass phase difference before and after gain change. CONSTITUTION: A power amplifier includes a primary amplification section, a secondary amplification section, and an attenuator. The secondary amplification section amplifies signals by receiving signals from the primary amplification section. The attenuator is located in the primary amplification section and the secondary amplification section. The attenuator includes a plurality of arms and a switch. A plurality of arms includes at least one parallel arm and at least one serial arm. The switch is arranged in the plurality of arms. The switch changes an electrical connection state of the plurality of arms between the primary amplification section and the secondary amplification section. The plurality of arms is arranged in an order of the parallel arm to the serial arm parellely.
