<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink printer for printing on a recording medium, capable of homogenously executing a relatively large or relatively long print job with high printing quality. <P>SOLUTION: At least one flow direction imparting unit is disposed aslant with a space from a bottom (45) of an intermediate ink container (30) filled with an ink inside the area of the intermediate ink container (30) so that an ink flowing from a deaeration inflow unit (34) is run first at a predetermined inclination (α) in a radial direction and then changed in direction by the bottom (45) or a container wall (46) of the intermediate ink container (30).
