<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely control unreeling of a lead by a natural operation to pull back the lead reflexively when the unreeling of the lead is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The case of a retractable lead includes a body and a grip in front and behind with a finger insertion space therebetween. A reel is rotatably supported in the body of the case through a spiral spring so that the rotational force is biased toward the reeling side. A brake trigger is provided on the grip so as to be able to be pushed in and to be slidable while being biased toward the push-back side. A brake arm in association with the sliding motion of the brake trigger is turnably provided in the body of the case. The brake arm rotates and engages with the reel by the push-in operation of the brake trigger, thereby restricting the reel from rotating toward the unreeling side of the lead. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
