<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail driving apparatus for a passenger conveyor that can reduce the number of components while circularly moving a handrail along with steps. <P>SOLUTION: The moving handrail driving apparatus includes: a drive shaft 16 that is provided in a step sprocket 14 for circularly moving a step chain 13 and rotates with the step sprocket 14 by drive of a driving machine 2; a moving handrail driving sheave 17 that is provided in the driving shaft 16 and rotates with the driving shaft 16; and a moving handrail 5 that is stretched on the moving handrail driving sheave 17 and circularly moves by the rotation of the moving handrail driving sheave 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
