<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output the size of a program. <P>SOLUTION: A development support device 200 comprises: a correspondence information storage unit 210; an estimation unit 220; and an output unit 230. The correspondence information storage unit 210 stores correspondence information. The correspondence information is information which relates one or plurality of parameter(s) out of parameters contained in a model which are a variable number, a port and a method, to the increase/decrease value of the size of a program generated by the model corresponding to an increase/decrease of the parameter(s). The estimation unit 220, by referring to the correspondence information stored in the correspondence information storage unit 210, estimates the size of the program generated by the model on the basis of the number of each parameter contained in the model input by an input device 101.
