<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size and high-performance zoom lens having a variable power ratio of substantially 2.8-3.0 and capable of widening a viewing angle. <P>SOLUTION: A zoom lens system, in order from an object side, includes: a first lens group having a negative refractive power; a second lens group having a positive refractive power; and a third lens group having a positive refractive power. When zooming from a short focal length end toward a long focal length end, a lens group interval between the first lens group and the second lens group becomes reduced, and the lens group interval between the second lens group and the third lens group becomes reduced. In the zoom lens system, a reflection prism having a negative refractive power is located between the third lens group and an image surface, and satisfies the following conditional expression: (1) P2νd<32, wherein P2νd is the Abbe number of the reflection prism located between the third lens group and the image surface with respect to the d line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
