PURPOSE: A three-dimensional holographic video device is provided to selectively irradiate a backlight unit in a sub-hologram area and to reduce power consumption of a backlight unit. CONSTITUTION: A spatial light modulating unit(140) reproduces a hologram in a sub hologram area. A backlight unit(120) supplies light to the spatial light modulating unit. The backlight unit is divided into a plurality of division areas. The backlight unit selectively turns on the division area in the sub-hologram area. |
