PURPOSE: A dust core and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the hardness of a molded product by hardening resin to bond and solidify powder. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a dust core comprises the steps of: compression-molding a mixture, in which iron-based soft magnetic powder having phosphoric acid conversion coating is mixed with lubricant, to obtain a compression-molded product, heating the compression-molded product at 550°C-650°C in inert atmosphere, and heating the compression-molded product at 420°C-530°C in oxidizing atmosphere.
