PURPOSE: A language interpreter utilizing an automatic answering machine is provided to use the interpreter for other productive tasks, and to enable users to communicate with foreigners. CONSTITUTION: A language interpreter is operated in the following steps: transmitting the speech sound of a speaker through a transmitter of a phone(100); receiving the speech sound using a receiver of an ARS(auto response system)(200); converting the speech sound into sentences using an STT(speech-to-text) device(300); translating the sentences into the language from a communications partner using a language translator(400); converting the translated sentence into the sound using a TTS(text to speech) device(500); transmitting the obtained sound to a receiver of the communications partner using a transmitter of the ARS(600); and receiving the sound(700).
