<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display capable of restraining light source damage while enhancing incidence efficiency from a light source to a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: In a backlight device illuminating a display part of the liquid crystal display, equipped with a light guide plate having a light-incident surface and an emission surface emitting light incident from the light-incident surface, an LED light source arranged to face the light-incident surface of the light guide plate, and a case containing the light guide plate and the LED light source, the light guide plate has a slope for reflecting light from the light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
