<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element in which light can be emitted efficiently from a luminous layer while ensuring high luminous efficiency and excellent light extraction efficiency, and a lamp using the semiconductor light-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element 1 comprises a semiconductor layer 10 where an n-type semiconductor layer 12, a luminous layer 13 and a p-type semiconductor layer 14 are laminated in this order, an insulation layer 21 formed partially on the p-type semiconductor layer 14 and having a refractive index of 1.5 or higher, a coefficient of thermal expansion in the range of 5.0×10<SP POS="POST">-6</SP>(1/K) to 15.0×10<SP POS="POST">-6</SP>(1/K), and a thickness in the range of 5 nm to 500 nm, a metal reflection layer 22 laminated on the insulation layer 21 and having a thickness in the range of 30 nm to 500 nm, a transparent conductive layer 15 formed to cover the p-type semiconductor layer 14 and the metal reflection layer 22, and a positive electrode 17 formed at a position where the positive electrode overlaps the insulation layer 21 and the metal reflection layer 22 on the transparent conductive layer 15 in the plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
