<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm device that permits shaping of the diaphragm opening in a near circle in a broader range of the diameter (size) of the diaphragm and can prevent a plurality of diaphragm vanes from thrusting up one another when the diameter (size) of the diaphragm becomes narrower. <P>SOLUTION: A diaphragm device has a plurality of sets of multiple diaphragm vanes differing from one to another in the shape of the edge forming a diaphragm opening. The diaphragm vanes forming the diaphragm opening is switched over from one set to another out of the plurality of diaphragm vane sets when the shape of the edge forming a diaphragm opening of each of the multiple sets of diaphragm vanes is to vary the diameter of the diaphragm opening. When the edge forming the diaphragm opening of any set of diaphragm vanes forms a diaphragm opening, the edge forming the diaphragm opening of any of the remaining sets forms no diaphragm opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
