<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which suppresses reduction in the number of images per second in a continuous shooting even when a shutter speed is slow. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus, if a shutter speed is faster than a first shutter speed in an exposure of a second image and later in a continuous shooting, a photographing image is formed based on an exposure obtained during a period in which a mechanical shutter performs a closing action. If the shutter speed is slower than the first shutter speed and faster than a second shutter speed, the photographing image is formed based on an exposure obtained during two different periods, that is, the exposure obtained by adding an exposure obtained during a period in which the mechanical shutter performs an opening action and an exposure obtained during a period in which the mechanical shutter performs the closing action. If the shutter speed is slower than the second shutter speed, the photographing image is formed based on an exposure obtained during a period containing both periods in which the mechanical shutter performs the opening action and closing action. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
